MISS LEBANON FINAL NIGHT
24 year old Saly Greige was crowned Miss Lebanon beating 13 other contestants in the annual Miss Lebanon pageant held at Casino du Liban on October 5’ 2014. Saly Greige was crowned by her predecessor Karen Ghrawi Miss Lebanon 2013, who had incident of slipping on the stage.
In front of the judge panel who was including prominent Lebanese figures as well as politicians and the audiences, Saly vowed to support women's right using her title as Miss Lebanon winner. She stated that if she were to take part in one demonstration, she would choose to participate in a demonstration to defend the rights of Lebanese women.
The 14 contestants were dressed in luxurious dress by Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad's 2014-2015 Fall/Winter collection. And the winner received $300,000 apartment, a 2014 Audi Q3 and $50,000 worth of jewelry. As the winner of Miss Lebanon 2014 contest, Saly Greige has the opportunity to represent Lebanon in Miss World 2014 pageant held in London in December and Miss Universe 2014/2015.
